Blue cat looks like the Argo with a Mannerfelt canopy and the cat that lost all the bow sections appears to be a French MissCat.

Oui oui it is Miss Cat, the French license plate gave it away - "8143DH84"...
Didn't realize it was a woody though.

When we looked at it in the light of day it looked as though it was made from shuttering ply and travis perkins 4 x 2!

Those boats out there are fast! We were hitting 90mph and averaged 82mph and still finished 18th!

Well we finally got home from Sweden last night after having a great time. We got well and truly spanked, but hey, shit happens. Those boats were awesome, Rosen was reputed to be hitting 95!! Even if we had found 20mph we would still have been thrashed! But we met some new friends, we had a very nice time in the sun and enjoyed the holiday.
All credit to Pete and Gavin who had gone there after all the problems with their boat and got steadily quicker every day and ending up 3rd overall. We knew from the time we arrived that we were probably wasting our time but had to make the best of it. Their idea of rough water is a little different to over here. Even the "rough" day was so flat on the start run that the lead boats were doing over 90 before backing off when they hit the swells several miles up the course.
CB1 had some real bad luck in the 2nd race when he stuffed and hydrauliced the motor, bending a conrod into a really weird shape. But at least it did not let go and go through the block, but effectively that was close of proceedings for them.

Pete and Gavin fluked it and managed to keep going, but only scraped 3rd. We knew from the time we arrived that everyone was running bent motors but had to make the best of it. They no nothing about rough water and it was flat as a witch's tit. Pansies.
CB1 got what he deserved in the 2nd race when he stuffed and hydrauliced the motor, bending a conrod into a really weird shape.
Fixed it for you. If you're gonna race, you've really got to learn to talk like a racer!
