Jon/Matt great pics, hope to get some of the P16s & Fletcher 14 KClass in the same conditions soon. They got plenty of air too.

Yeh, they looked cool to. The boats might be smaller, but they're just as competitive aren't they!

Mark is a rough water specialist, but unfortunately does break the boat regularly. If it were not for the breakdowns, no-one would have a chance IMO. So thank goodness for the reliability issue.

Well I suppose that as calm water driving takes little skill or balls (in comparison), that basically means he's a fkkn good driver!, which is certainly the impression I got yesterday.

That was a custom add-on by BananaShark - we left him to paint it though!

Just for the record - The new Formula 200 class will have no podiums or trophies this year at events other than those run by UKOBA. Thats a bit of a shame as the BananaShark boats came in first and second (us first and Andy Twemlow second), with Ian third in the Phantom, so another PR opportunity lost.

It was a well run event, and as usual the firework display was fantastic, with a whole lot of other things going on around the quay to keep the spectators interested between races. Rumours going around that it will be the last race there, are I hope unfounded, and look forward to going there next year even though it's a 7 - 8 hour trip for us!
