I have the race instructions here if you dont get them. There is due to be a postal strike, so perhaps Ramsgate would ask John Fuller to post them on boatmad for retrieval by the competitors, or we can host a copy on the V24Club website on your behalf.

Unsure.
The damage may not be as great as first thought, as the front bulkhead was an addition, not original part of the boat, and will just be cut out entirely. The delamination on the deck, hull and longitudinals in this region is actually the delamination of the additional structure, and not of the original boat structure.
The only serious issue is the breaking in half of the internals of the boat at the front of the safety capsule/canopy. This is serious, and may not be reparable at all!
The delamination of the deck / hull joint is not serious along both sides, the bolts need to be re-tightened, and then the holes patched and the fibreglass strip re-applied then gelled.
Inside the engine bay the battery box has dislodged and needs repair.
The wings are off and on their way to a seperate glass guy to get repaired, and they will be ready for Ramsgate for sure.
So it all hangs in the balance...
Ana has been cleared by the doctor to fly to Spain this weekend - her sisters 40th - and the doc will confirm Monday if Ana can race on the weekend. At this time she says probably, and will confirm Monday for sure. Ana's work is well chuffed... off for a week sick due to racing, then she has asked - whilst on sick leave - to take next Friday off to go racing again!!

A bit of fun for the smallest size class (12 foot) at Ramsgate, with exception of ski (as i'm not sure of their classes) this was the largest offshore class on the Sunday....

Just put where they were told by the "officials", and with over half that area still under water at least you didn't have to paddle around in the mud.
Can't do right for doing wrong it seams

jon sorry about the wet, but the main part was taken up by one kid big666 racing. They took the pit area that 5 offshore boats were squeezed into.

I'll make sure Jerry knows, thanks Brian. Hope the ride back in was ok?

Chris I know what you mean, there was a lot of ski boats/campers there which we're not use to, things did get a bit cramped. I'm sure the pits were bigger last year.

In the cold light of day ours looked a lot worse than it actually is. The deck skin has blown but the main frame is fine so we have a joiner waiting to start repairs. Will be up and running for Italy.
