Good choice Dean,

We were made to feel very welcome with the old boats at our COPOC / MDL Classic Boats Rally.

There aren't so many places where powerboats are well-received these days, but the Royal Torbay Yacht Club and harbour authorities gave us a fantastic reception.

Hear Hear !
Yes, Torquay/Torbay an excellent base, & I echo the sentiments re RTYC, & all at that venue.
Plus ... Torbay being sheltered to all except easterlies, it "Should" be OK for use, whatever conditions prevail.
Good viewing too, especially if a lap of the bay is run before they set off to the west !

Deposits Required

Hi all,

The race is looking good, This week the UIM ratified it as an International Race for 2011. All venues in place...but... everybody keeps asking 'what's happenning with RB11?'

Well the next step is up to the racers...... you need to step forward and send your deposits please. We can then start to organise the course and obtain course approval from the RYA, this is very time consuming and the time will start to get a bit tight if we wait much longer for the last few entries to sign up

Entry forms and details are on the Website

www.roundbritainrace.co.uk
