just like to say that Eric had the best day ever doing the CTC and is very happy to go out on a high. Hopefully we will have another boat with our son Max and his Dad racing next year so watch this space.

There was i thinking the start wasnt going to be as good as the cowes start but to cruise down with the boat and run along side them at the start has to be the best start of any CTC ever!
I applaude all the organizers of this race. It was fantastic!

Ctc
THE COWES/TORQUAY/COWES, WELL WHAT CAN I SAY? FANTASTIC, THANKS OLD MAN AND THUNDERBOLT FOR RECOMENDING THAT I GO TO HURST, A VERY PLEASENT EARLY MORNING WALK ALONG HURST SPIT WAS REWARDED WITH A FANTASTIC SIGHT OF THE ROLLING START OF THE NORTH HEAD BOUY, THE COWES/POOLE RACE WERE SOON BACK HUGGING THE NORTH SHORE, BUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY WAS FABIO IN RED FPT/CESA DOING VERY CLOSE BATTLE WITH SILICON FIRE, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SAY WHO WAS GOING TO WIN THAT ONE, BUT I HEARD LATER THAT BUZZI DIT IT BY ONLY A FEW SECONDS BRILLIANT! SAD IN A WAY THAT WE WILL NOT SEE HIM RACE AGAIN, AS I HEAR THAT WAS HIS LAST RACE, WHAT A WAY TO RETIRE FROM RACING WITH A WIN! LETS HOPE HE KEEPS RED FPT AND RUNS IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE NEXT YEAR? THIS MAKES UP FOR ALL HIS DISAPPOINTMENT ON THE ROUND BRITAIN. GOOD ALSO TO SEE CINZANO UP AND RUNNING WELL AFTER ALL THERE TROUBLES ON THE RB08. SO A BIG THANKYOU TO THUNDERBOLT(I WILL SEE YOU AT GOODWOOD?) AND A VERY WELL DONE TO MIKE LLOYD AND HIS CREW FOR ORGANISING SUCH A FANTASTIC EVENT . WHO NEEDS P1?? HERES TO NEXT YEAR . CHEERS

Cowes Torquay Cowes Pics
Some of your photos are stunning and thanks for that.
I did have Ken Beken of Cowes up with me in the helicopter and some of his pics of ALL the boats are on here:
http://www.beken.co.uk/shoots/displa...000-1100%20hrs
Ken has given me most of these and they will be on the BPRC web site www.britishpowerboatracingclub.co.uk within the next 36 hours. I hope you enjoy these great pics as it was just a stunning days racing and a privilege to be running with the fleet albeit very comfortable and dry up above them. Good to see everyone enjoying themselves.
My highlight was tracking the Apache 41 of Glenn Chidzroy 50ft off it's port quarter and up watching it run and hearing the sound of it's awesome engines above the noise of the helicopter and through my headset!!!
We have also made a film of the race and as with the RB08 the film will be available shortly on DVD.
