Lloyd is the "Master".
He has given our sport of Offshore Racing two races in 2008 to be proud of.

P.S. Where was Jim O 'Toole at the weekend ?
Or were his Muppets hoping we would fail in this venture?

Perhaps, but better that, than you have not updated the class 3 site for ages.
There were one or two guys talking about your absense at the weekend.

I did try to find you Baz!............... but you're a bit of a celeb nowadays and I didnt want to disturb you from all your groupies!
I wanted to grab you to (a) say well done in the CTC, you must be much happier with the hunton now; and (b) to confess my sins to you.............
did you look at the fuel flow meter on the smartcraft?

Fabio Buzzi Claims CTC Record
Fabio Buzzi is claiming the record for the fastest time ever for the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes NON STOP. That should cause a few people to disagree but Fabio never makes a statement like that without first doing his research.

The smartcraft system looked good it appears though i would have to buy that sytem now as went for the analogues. Probably go for a simple fuel flow system
Happier with the Hunton not the weather could of done with a bit more chop out there

Although Jim said he would try and make Cowes, I really can't imagine why he would, just so he could get pecked at by a load idiots with nothing better to do.

It's great that Fabio made the effort to race in the CTC with the famous winged boat and at 90mph+ average it's a fantastic achievement and in it's own way it is a record but as I asked in a previous post from what I recall the course took in a few more turns in previous years and as far as I am aware it never started at Hurst and ran from the Needles and back that in itself could account for a 1-2mph average speed loss so it's not like for like but still perhaps the new benchmark to be beaten from now on, although personally I would like the CTC to take in Bournemouth bay as per the original route next year, a wee bit more spectator friendly although comments have been said it's a racers event for racers perhaps if I take part I might agree

Yep, so I went and hit golf balls to the horizon for a couple of hours and you will probably understand why. I also discovered how to add 10 yards to my drive!!

I'm a great fan of Fabio but he cannot claim a record as he didn't do the original course or length.. Sorry
