Anyone got a link to the actual rules?
Here they are Tony, need to talk to you by the way.

Page 3. As you can see these rules are pretty wide and will cover most boats. Will probably knock out S3 as it is wide open to abuse by the BIG money men.

Now, how can I wangle a ride on a leg.
Well if you manage to cadge a ride, tell Hutchy to keep turning right.

Latest news situation

Am sending off to JF tomorrow for insertion into the web site the latest situation regarding developments and progress of the race. Be patient if it doesn't come "on stream" quickly.

Is there going to be a 'cut-off' date as to when the 2008 will or not go ahead?

Certainly would be very useful to help with planning.

The decision is that if we haven't got sponsorship by June1 2007 then the race will be postponed for a year 'til 2009. But don't let's be negative, the momentum is so huge, mostly being driven by you guys, that it has to happen in 2008.
A well known someone, who obviously hadn't done their homework, said to me today "But there just aren't the boats out there to do the race" had great delight in telling him that in just 6 weeks we already have 49 "Intend to Enter".
Stunned silence.
ML.

My response was, mebbe, but there loads in the US & Europe & plenty of time to buy em!
