news on RB12
Is there any news on progress of RB12.
Guess with OldMan organising CTC it may be delayed a bit, but could be a good launch with publicity generated during CTC.

2012 and any plans thereof have had to go on the back burner I'm afraid. We are having to deal with toooooo many negative people right now re the CTC saying "It can't be done in three weeks"!!!
Any safety personnel out there willing to give us a hand??

Rb2012
From what I heard yesterday it would indeed sound as though there are a group of people very firmly focused on getting the RB going again in 2012 before the Olympics (to take advantage of the world's Press being here).
No me though, I want to take part this time if I can, that's the brain saying that, I haven't asked the body yet

Finish of the Round Britain Race 08.
Well, that about raps it up. Race run, trophies won, film shown and on DVD and thats the end of it. We have accomplished all we set out to do and I think the racers had a great time, well, good and bad. The race was a sheer nightmare to put on, more stressful that I could have possibly imagined and so many people saying it wouldn't and couldn't happen but they had not taken into account the huge enthusiasm of those wanting to take part, those guys and girls who raced paid for the privilege of going round and it must have cost each and every one of them a small fortune, but good for them, they did it and we have the record of them doing it and after all, there are no pockets in shrouds.
A huge "thank you" to all who took part and to all those who helped us organise the RB08. I can't wait for the next one so that I too can race this time and say I have "done" the Round Britain.
Mike Lloyd.

Thanks for that Johnny, very sneaky, I knew I had put on weight over Xmas but not THAT much. I am nearly as big as JF! Anyway, I personaly felt great excitement because someone else is carring the project forward, which is great, and we can get on with the much more enjoyable job of getting some races organised and getting a boat ready. Now, we just need some engines

I've got some marine diesels? Never ever raced or rallied. Used fire fighting kit also available.
