OK this is how I see it - RB12 are a completely brand new lot - price is a lot more than RB08, so Dean came along (another new guy) with the support of the RB08 Mike who did RB08 and has put together RB11 "for the racers"

Hope that helps and is a fair representation in a nutshell!

I should think that members of Boatmad surely would appreciate the effort and stamina that is required to organize RB11 & RB12 - if anyone doubts this talk to Mike from RB08 (he's actually only 37 yrs old ). Having organized a few (much smaller) races in Scandinavia, I must admit it is a bloody unforgiving job, and if anyone feels the need to criticize they should either PM the organizers or go stand in front of a mirror and rant.

Hat's off to Dean and the guys from RB12 - don't know about the rest of you but we will do our best to take part in what will surely be two fantastic events.

Good luck at Driver's tomorrow!

Very kind, however, I feel 37 but look 70 because of 2.5 years of work on the RB08 with countless sleepless nights. See you at Gunwharf in June 2011, being an OAP I can't afford to do two races but it will be good racing against you and winning anyway:

If that was a dig at my comment then i think you misunderstood

I doubt there is enough interest and money for 2 RB's in as many years.

I have the utmost respect for anyone organising any kind of race.

However organisers need entries to make a race and it's our money that we spend and there ain't that much spare at the moment.

I will go with the group with the right attitude and so far one is leaps and bounds ahead
