A 'Brace' of 'British Seaguls' (40-Featherweight models) Like it says on the flywheel "The Best Outboard Motor For the World" and we can carry a few spares too. The only trouble is, I've had to break Steve Bakers rules, and run a 'Bracket' to mount em all on. Look for the blue cloud of two stroke smoke (or smog) you can't beat a 10:1 fuel/oil ratio.

Actually....
..I'll put you out of your missery.
A wee class rule that I made sure was in place before leaving the rule making commitee, allowed an 'experimental' entry (as with UIM) to run gas turbines.
We now have a couple of Jet-Ranger motors (just over 400hp each) coupled to Bravo XRs, which we think will do OK, as well as running on diesel.
If they stay together, it should go pretty well.

Occe and I discussed this problem in an series of emails about 5 weeks ago. If you are still having problems, you can contact me direct, and I can show you what we have done with our propellors. You can not follow the traditional methods to 'fix' issues with the drive, as the propellors do work differently.
We are currently running our propellors at 30% better than the volvo specification!

My money would also be on FB especially if he came to the party with a boat similar to the 48' wettpunkt equipped with 3+ diesel engines with planing ability's if one went down...in RB2 I would also go along with Vee or Drew although during the last P1 season Drew did suffer to many power failures that would be cause for concern, still reckon a boat equipped with 525/600Merc's could do well as many people use them in the US as daily runners without all the problems seen by the teams running them again in the P1 series...not yet certain about other classes yet, although I am sure JF will fight to the bitter end for the podium with chip fat power

Fabio was allegedly running the old Cesa boat that Drew owned briefly - it had 4 Seateks in it and if it was in the historic class he might be able to run it with 4 engines as it was originally setup (not possible in any other class?) - this would obviously make it a candidate for overall victory .............

Yes but if I were FB I would wish for it to come second against my NEW STAB deign boat, and should Cesa win I would then say... even in 20years no one has caught up... game set and match to FB........I look forward to battle commencing

Before any bets are placed I would suggest that you all have a good old hard look at the listing. There are some "dark horses" in there which might spring a few surprises.

Next odds.
After much thought over a couple of days I am going to make Team Jersey, Toby Clayson / Roy Smith 15-1, to finish in the top 3 of the 2008 Round Britain. (overall places)
Very nice price I know, but I feel Roy likes to win a leg of a race...

just to clarify, that means, if I give you £66.66, and Roy / Toby don't finish in the top 3 'overal', you give me £1000?

Clarification.
[QUOTE=Jon Fuller;123034]
Clarification.
15/1 bet "Team Jersey" finish in the top three.
So if you pay me £66.66 and they end up in "placed", I pay £999.00.
I am the bookie - you are the pundit.
