Well I can tell you that Feb 5th isn't going to happen - and it looks like there isn't going to be a 2 litre worlds this year.

5th of Feb was a request from the RYA as the RMYC were originally off to the 2L worlds, as there were only 2 enquiries so far an event could not be put on hoping that people would turn up on the day.

However, the awards is still going ahead along with the dunk tests etc on the Sunday. There might be time still to do a fun thing up at Rockley, if we get permission from PHC harbour master.

There are no dunk tests at the hotel as they havn't got a pool!!!!l
Allthough there are medicals and the chance to get ratted! The RMYC were not going to Cape town it was the uim 2ltr boats, but too much dosh to get the boats down. RMYC real brass monkey trophy has been rearranged for first weekend in april. Much better date. See you all there!

I was told that the RMYC was having work done as well so they couldn't put an event on?

Just Phoned AllHallows to register my interest unless 10 boats enter the basic will not be a race there either. They lost money last year.

Gutted this was going to be my first basic! On me doorstep, come on all u racers out there support ALLHALLOWS, IF anyone would be interested in this race please register your interest with Anne Robinson on 027 7401010.

We've got about 20 boats going for the KCLASS event, though with exception of launching and one or two extra safety boats we're self contained at allhallows.

Come on you lot, AYC club is a great venue the welcome, hospitality & BBQ is second to none plus you pay a decent price for the beer too. All round an excellent weekend to get the season going.

Thanks Chris for the corrections earlier re: RMYC & dunk test forgot the pool got burnt down just over a year ago plus as cookie says work on-going at RMYC too.
