South Coast Marathon

Gentlemen,
Perhaps I should re-phrase the last comment, we have tried to keep costs to an absolute minimum in organising this race, whilst we do realise that in the current economic climate £350 to some people is a lot of money putting on a race is not cheap, and this UKOBA Event will Go Ahead…

We are linking up with SEPA, Barrie Williams and the Ramsgate Powerboat Festival and the South Coast Marathon is the first leg of weekends racing, Ramsgate will start the return race on Sunday to Portland. It will be a great event with a music festival on Saturday Night and other events taking place along the lines of the Harwich Powerboat Festival.

Whatever for? The Commodore's comment was thoughtful and eloquent as always.
