Keep your shirts on girls, jeez, you would swear that you were coming from Australia.

Ferries and hotels in progress and all but organised.

P750 Europeans to take place mide week during the festival and dates have been submitted to UIM.
Aim to be here for Tuesday and if the Guinness and nice people of Galway will let you stay you can race later in the week.

Guinness is on tap and I'll buy you one when you get here ('ur freebie)

Shouting on the forum is not going to make us go faster and we are working hard to finalise everything.

Suggest you fill the piggy bank and get ready for the biggest and best offshore event in 2010.

Now repeat after me..... "thank you Macrib" and relax.

Regards,

Macrib." Taken from their website

Come on guys you're all wrong.... ThunderCat Racing UK have just announced today to their racers to save the dates of 14th - 17th October (TBC) for the P750 Europeans, so who is lying???

We want to race in the big boats but can we please know who is racing I dont want to loose my £500 squid!?! If there is a lack of boats tell us and at least we can in true powerboat fashion rally round to make sure the event happens! Keep us in the dark and we loose confidence and dont race...

Hey take ya chill pills Winston..!... Just had Cookee on the phone and to calm you boys down up to date news from ISA today is... Europeans for P750 are in October (TBC by UIM) and ThunderCats have been invited to do a 'Cross Border' event on 12th and 13th June in Galway - will be a right craic I have been told, I'm sure the UK boys will be looking forward to having a good laugh as usual with the ThunderCat Ireland teams - Sorry guys cant give you any news on RIR except that that Vee is allowed to race his canopy boat now... so party on we'll be in Galway if all goes to plan!

their seems a lot of events teams could do this year time and money allowing, and as this is yet another event vying for people to support can't help wondering if their will be enough international teams with funds to meet the challenge

British international powerboating duo, Kim Collins and Dan Cramphorn, have confirmed that they will break from their pursuit of the 2010 P1 World Championship title to compete in BladeRun-Western Europe, a 3-day powerboat rally that starts in Rotterdam on Thursday July 15th

Interesting that the website banner says "75" boats with 30 crew.

Does that mean some crew have to finish and then drive back to the start and pick another boat up and do the leg again

If you then follow the "latest news" link the number of boats have been reduced to 50.

Had a look at the site but couldn't see who has entered?

edit.. I now see if you click on the "team focus" picture it takes you to a list of entrants. Personally I would have put that in the menu bar on each page. Ho hum

Like the video on the home page showing boats crashing into each other and crews in the water.

Very good publicity for the forthcoming race!

ive been told Fabio is entering a couple of boats for the event, and that there even maybe a couple of canopy boats entering, least there seems to be some progress moving forward.

I asked them about he "30 crew" they are changing this. Apparently as the site is new they are making lots of changes and updates...

Vee wanted to enter his US Phantom, and if they are allowing canopy boats now I suspect one of those would be his.

I spoke to the organisers today- they are placing the boats in the right classes and adding the other teams this week all going well. Seems they have been working hard behind the scenes. Talk of big prizes aswell.

Who else on here is thinking of doing the race?

I hope to give the round ireland record attempt ago after the race if i can. But we will see.

Looks like there are some entries doing both the RIB event and Round Ireland as well here are the "Great British RIB Rally entrants" http://www.greatbritishribrally.co.uk/entrants.htm which starts June 11th a day before Round Ireland finishes!

looking at my entry aswell i think some of the classes on the messed up. As i believe myself and hook in his revenger with twin 300xs's should be in the same class.

I called them regards this to make sure they were sorting things out. Aparently they have been manic sorting prizes, fuel and meeting with venues etc. I have been told from Justin, that he is personally going through the "paid" entries and making sure they are 1)listed and 2)in the right class.

We shall see...

By the look of the Round Ireland "about" web page they need more do'ers than managers/directors/chairmans.

Maybe a case of two many captains to one ship! And not enough administrators.

I wish them a great success however and do hope it will all go to plan. I love ireland and it would be great to race around it. Also as i have paid our entry fee and starting soon to rebuild the boat and give it a new look, It would be a shame to do all that and not have an event or be racing only one or two boats...

Time will tell..
