For our foreign friends please use the online payment.

Thanks!
Just a thought and maybe for BPRC members we could pay by online bacs for any thing like this or entry fees.

Thanks mate, I will pass it on.

Shame you guys can't make it to the do!

However, I suspect that 2009 is not going to go out without a few "Bandit" stories.

Apologies, I hit the buy now button before seeing your post about preferring a cheque.

What's the format for the evening, is it buffet, or sit down meal, and if it's sit down, how many to a table, and can you book a table?

It's a sit down jobby with 10 to a table and you are most welcome to take a full table and so is anyone else for that matter. Just go to the BPRC web site and book. Five sold so far, only 25 to go!

Johnny C is organising the food and wine which will be fantastic knowing Johnny as he has done a couple of these types of evenings for "Help The Heroes".

I don't know how I get myself involved in all this but we can't run our two races without this particular evening happening, all sponsorship is dire and has gone to ground which is not a surprise really so for everyone’s sake this evening has to be a success and with everyones help I think it will!!

Unhappy Hotels

Drove past the venue yesterday ( well the gate ) whilst on the big island. Anyone any ideas of accomodation locally, as didn't drive past any.
6.5 miles nearest according to Tom Tom, and nothing nearer on web ?

The BPRC Ball is coming together well!

The auction items are outstanding - thanks to Sheron Hemsley, Laura Levi, Chris Clayton, Richard Carr, Lord Beaverbrook and others.

(More info to follow on "the items" in the next few days)

Over 100 tickets have now been purchased- just under 200 more to sell!

I will be staying sober during the event due to having to drive early doors to the AYC and watch Blufin and Pash race the Midas.

Powerboat Ball Post Code

The correct Post Code for the Powerboat Ball at Johnny Caulcutts place (Belmore House, Belmore Park) is S032 1HQ. www.streetmap.co.uk will give a good indication of how to get there.

Many racers (particularly RB racers) are kindly donating some great prizes for the auction and everything is looking very good for a great and memorable evening.

Quick update.

180 tickets have now been sold.

The Auction Lots are quite amazing

This should be the largest rabble of powerboat people since the first Monday of last July.
