Thanks for a fab weekend at Torquay!

The weather and the racing was excellent and we had a great time on and off the water!

Well done to ORDA and to all those involved

Thanks for that....

Everybody seemed to enjoy the whole weekend...boat parade was fantastic, thanks to all the crews for the efforts in dressing boats (and themselves)

Not such a great race for us, lost the trim so the leg just went up. We drowned the "lucky" parrot at sea while we waited for a tow.

I'm told the start for sunday looked awesome.

Got to agree, the event went like clockwork, well organised, some great close racing and perfect weather. The boat parade was ace, especially as we "robbed" Cliff and Erin of best dressed boat! Still they definately had the best sound system.
The marshalls did a great job as usual, especially seargant major Jim who kept the "vultures" away from the harbour wall while Ashleigh was being attended to by the paramedics. Great to see her back after a short trip to hospital.
It was real hard luck on Brian when his powerhead parted company with the rest of the leg and went for a swim. Hope you get it sorted soon Brian.
The format of running OCR, 3C, 3B and V24 all at once clearly works and if the feedback we received from the spectators was anything to go by then it has got to be the way ahead.
The only slight downer for me was the stupid antics of Joe Public, particularly the knob in the Sunseeker who thought it was cool to be doing figure of eights, on the racing line and close to buoy 7. Still I suppose some people are just born crazy!
Cant wait for the next event.
