Since when has that ever happened?

Classes that 'attempt' to make profit is probably more accurate.

Asif only blew 27Million Euros, and I assume that doesn't include all the sponsorship, and race entry fees that came in, Fkk knows how much P1 'actually' cost over those years.

Start with a large one!

Last season for me Tony, and I daresay one or two others as well...i'm nearly as old as Old Beardy.

12 consecutive years in Offshore is enough for me. Thats nearly 5 grand just in RYA licences...

I've been lucky enough to race with some great people....Alan Leyton, Mike Spinks, Bob Irwin, Roy Smith, Scotty, Mark Brewster , Ian Stirling and now to finish me off (possibly literally ) this year ...with Brian Peedell (Rhino).

It will be difficult numbers wise this year, but you can only race the ones that are out there and hats off to all the clubs and organisations trying to put races on in 2010.....between the rules and the licences and the calendar fees and lack of funds...and boats...its not easy.

I believe its now THE Honda (singular) not sure about the IOW cat.. maybe its not ready.....

There are other boats around but with the financial climate as it is.....and more important things to do on a race day, or because they cant win....they stay in the garden.

We've done all we can in terms of keeping entry fees as low as possible, and making people welcome, and giving them the best facilties we can....

You can tow a Merc to water but you cant make it start.....
