Interesting average speeds! how does a boat 'average' a higher speed over a 50NM race, than it's known 'top speed'?

In fact looking at Cookees average speed as a non finisher, I reckon the time keepers need a bit of schooling...If Cookee had retired a little earlier, may be he'd have averaged 90!

I think we need a shake up in powerboating

isnt it lovely to see that the rya dont bother to update there website and tell the public whats going on,we have to relie on cookee doing it for us. i wonder why i didnt re-new my membership with them
