Likewise, thanks Tony. We're really up against it with the Guernsey powerboat week at the moment with a clerical error meaning that we weren't initially included on the draft Marathon national schedule. This has now been resolved and I will see everyone on Feb 5th to raise support and hopefully see our powerboat week get back to the way it used to be.
All the best,
James

I'm going to have to ask Rob about the wet T shirt competition - in particular why he didn't win!

It's showing on their website. No telling how old the info might be however.

I received the advance race instructions in the post whilst we were in Cowes, so it seems like its going to happen. Cinzano will be there.

As I quite enjoy Weymouth for a day out, and have not been since last year I may take a lookie down their again, assuming the race is on a Sunday, Although it was sooo cold last year on the end of the caffe pier and almost devoid of any spectators,( felt like a train spotter ) bar a few who came to support family team members, the only down side is the Weymouth marker is so far away it can only be seen with high power lenses and therefore it does not make you feel in any way connected to the racing especially as the marina is in a separate area, is the course the same this year ... last yr's thread

Weymouth
Is there anybody out there ? (Pink Floyd, The Wall?).
So who is coming to Weymouth ?
It all seems eerily quiet ...
Advance instructions were brief to say the least.
We are intending to be there in Cinzano but if there is no one else to play with we need to know ...

Offshore powerboat racing - top secret - eyes only - on a need to know basis !!
Went to Milford to watch the Cowes starts had a number of people asking what was going on inc the lady in the kiosk there.
Planning to go to Weymouth to watch again this year if the entry is more than one ? enjoyed last year lovely day watched from the side of the prison great sounds echoing around the bay.So any info would be great.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Sorry Chaps we are unable to defend our class win and second overall as we are prematurely refitting the boat for the Round Britain next year with some very nice 500 + HP DIESEL engines!
Good luck to everybody concerned!
