Any chance of a full entry list to date??

From a spectator / visitor point of view, there is not a lot published to make me want to come over for a few days.

Perhaps worth taking a look at the Circuit of Ireland rally website from a couple of weeks ago, lots of info for competitors, marshals and spectators alike. As much as I support you in this event, you aint making it easy for me to spend a few days of my hard earned time and money to come and see some of this event..........

I don't understand why you get so up set when a comment that you do not like gets posted on BM.
Still the good news is when ever they are posted you do reply with some news which is what supports want.

Do Swoop Labs need an ageing chap to post 'Vector Martini' and 'Hibernia Racing' as the only 'Big Boats' looking to compete in this farce?

My last post was a week ago.

No doubt you are busy dealing with other things.

In the mean time, the cowestorquaycowes.co.uk web site is up and running with 'Shock Horror', the first paid up entrant posted.

Millions haven't seen it - I checked the stats before posting.

Shouldn't raceinstructions be available 45 days before the race?
No details of shoreside events? Not easy to plan anything...

Mikko - race instructions are being published today. This is in agreement with, and the assistance of, the two national authorities in which the race takes place - ISA and RYA.

Teams - Race Instructions are now published.

They've just been sent out by group email (let us know if you didn't receive them) and also include details on media plans and a ferry package from the UK.

This is a very important marker for the race - especially when one considers previous issues in this area - and we'd like to thank everyone who helped putting them together over the past few months.

Teams

Surely, you can find someone to post on your web site who the 'Teams' are?

It's really easy in this day and age.

Tommy Racing Team – A60 – Cowes Classic 2016

The updated new website with team info isn't looking that great. Hopefully this is only a poor admin error and not a sign of the race viability.

Racing licence application

With all the final preparations for the Venture Cup being put into place, I would like to remind any Irish competitors who have not yet applied for their International Racing Licence that applications forms are available on the ISA website Home - Irish Sailing AssociationIrish Sailing Association

Good afternoon all. As some of you will already be aware, we've just started to release details about next year's event. We came over to Cowes to meet with the teams and we were humbled and delighted by the response we received. We've deliberately kept our heads down for the past 9 months, rolled up our sleeves and worked hard to get some key elements in place before we stuck our heads up out of the trenches. The main points now are as follows:

1. Our plans for 2016 are fully-funded
2. We have permissions in place from all ports and venues
3. It will be run as a formal race
4. There will be international television
5. There will be commercial supports for teams
6. The dates for next year's race are: Sunday June 12th to Sunday June 19th
7. The race will run with an opening weekend in Cork, a closing weekend in Dublin and the Wild Atlantic Coast of Ireland in the intervening week.
8. We've been closely informing our relevant UIM national authority about our plans, including full details of how the event is now financially underwritten.
9. Entry fees are NOT necessary to ensure the race goes ahead.

We plan to hold an open meeting for teams in London during November and we'll send you on the venue, date and time once confirmed.

We also were one of three groups who shared equally in the cost of funding 4k video and high-res photography from a chopper at last Sunday's race. We'll be making all of this content available free to the teams over the coming week.
Are you still keeping your heads down.

All the doubters have been very well behaved this time. I am so looking forward to this race only 30 days to go. Might even bring my new toy over to follow the teams around

Rather than buy that flash car Barry, I would have thought that you would have spent the money on putting that heap of a boat of yours back in order and having a go yourself! :lol

If Hunton69 refers to the fact you have a Hunton then at least you have a good taste in boats if not cars.
