Viewing The Ctc/cpc

I PLAN TO TRAVEL TO HURST CASTLE TO WATCH THE CTC/CPC, THE LAST TIME I DID THIS RATHER LONG WALK FOR THE P1s THEY ALL HUGGED THE ISLAND SHORE, WILL THIS BE THE CASE WITH THE CTC ? IF SO DOES ANYONE KNOW A BETTER VIEWING POINT TO CATCH BOTH RACES, I USED TO DO PORTLAND BILL IN THE OLD DAYS BUT WITH THE STEAM FAIR THE SAME WEEKEND I WOULD HAVE TO CAMP OVERNIGHT TO BE THERE ON TIME COS THE TRAFFIC IS LIKE THE M25

Colin
Hurst is probably the best bet, watched the RB08 boats through although some did pass island side more passed directly under the castle as the tidal race was running quite strongly, why not go to Cowes? see them up close and personal.
whatever you do glad to know loyal fans are still out there!

If I were you I would go to Hurst. We have a bit of a surprise for you there when the boats come through which I think will be at about 10.15 to 10.30. They will be running close together at that point and close to the North Shore as they will be heading for North Head Bouy. Should make for some great viewing.

We are working on the full details of the courses as well as the Racing Instructions and the Rules and Regs as we speak. Should all be posted by Tuesday. Glad it's only two weeks to go and only one venue. Come back Annie!!
