Whitsun Torquay race

According to ORDA on FaceBook it seems that we have attended the last race in Torquay or in fact that ORDA will ever run.

I hope this encourages all of the Clubs to talk to one another and co-operate, working together to save British powerboat racing before it disappears up its own bottom.

Whitsun Torquay race

A very sad day indeed for ORDA - Torquay is a fabulous venue and has always been a traditional start to the annual racing calendar.

On the contrary Cookie - Clubs do co-operate but its not always about that - you cannot hold a successful race without entrants. We are most probably cancelling the Marathon part of our event at Ramsgate due to insufficient interest.

Torquay has always been a popular venue and if ORDA can't get the entries, with a fabulous venue like this, what hope is there for the rest of us?
