But seriously we are looking for a solid state recorder that will replace the Sony setup. This one will take 2 cameras but not sure if the frame rate/resolution is as good as now....will check out.
I have to call ur attention one way or unother if my coms say Finito on the start , especially when ur going the wrong side of the bouy

Yes u can switch channels one down or one up ones they call the start via VHF ,i don`t think that`s to hard to do. Now if we can`t change channels due to hear WPPA They must be a way of talking to Bob, how do some off the other teams do it then, i don`t think it`s that cold out there and the pit crews are wearing head set to keep there ears warm

Uh hm! So is Bob gonna be on a tender or second boat then?

Or are you going to lose your VHF licence?

As for missing buoys...there is only one of us that has done that!!

They must be a way of getting feedback from Bob whiles we`re racing .

As i said most but not all, but most off the other teams pit crew talk to the boat crew whiles going by .

And we do know that it can`t be with me using a handheld as i wont hear it ,so it must be via the helmets using ptt etc .

Mostly in Class 1...but yes it is straight forward. With VHF it is illegal to communicate with shore based set. They use stuff like the Tiger coms set. But remember we have a spare Stilo so just need to plug in another device.

Something cheap and chearful. But remember you wont have time to listen to Bob as you will be screaming and shouting at me for missing ghost buoys!
