We're not racing but we will go down by water unless it's rough!

We made it down to Charlestown from Salcombe on Saturday and Rohese splashed some champagne from and old Magnum I've had on the trophy shelf in the office gathering dust for years - it was a bottle from a podium presentation where we weren't allowed to pop it for some reason - Ian may even have been at the race so I thought that was appropriate. Good to meet up with a few locals who knew him outside of racing and a real honour to have been part of the weekend.

The trip back to Salcombe would have been "interesting" in any other boat though! Kevin has built an amazing boat and we never had a single moment when we were even the slightest bit concerned - despite being involved in a small yacht Pan Pan and waves in excess of 15' coming from the quarter and later on behind us the boat behaved brilliantly - we also arrived bone dry even after torrential rain - bring on RB12 and a trip to Monte Carlo!

The Admirals Torphy went to Jeremy Gibson who, although he couldn't race for medical reasons, lent his boat to Graham Lawton to get the numbers up and helped with craning the boats in and anything else that he could lend a hand to - Just the sort of attitude the trophy is meant to reward!

What about the Sunday and overall results Rob?

I hope Honest John won't mind me putting these up copied from Facebook - Rohese and Kevin (Kitten) tipping some Champagne over the bow to name "The Stirling" - Rohese went for a ride out with her son afterwards and even had a drive!
