August Bank Holiday Poker Run

It doesn't matter what you have, the whole point is you are just as welcome whether you have an old beater or a gin palace. If you love being on the water you are no different to anyone else there.

And don't worry about the courses we are adapting them so everyone has the opportunity to take part even if you turn up in a 4hp dinghy!

Was told about this by another member on here. It looks quite good fun. I don't have anything as nice as a Phantom, but looks like it could be a fun few days all the same.

A guy on here used to do the drivers poker run in the same boat you have. So no excuses haha.

Awesome. Ok, when do you need to know by? Considering camping too, is that local?

Asap so we can sort food numbers out, contact motorvator on here for more details and look at the sepa poker run page on Facebook for more details

You can camp right in the field where we are partying, Is that close enough?

Apparently I'm in the beer tent. Now that is close.lol

Camping to if there is room for a small tent? :drink:

Yep got you a space reserved already Malc. All the nice guys get a spot the other end of the field to the helicopter!:D

Is that by the porter loos?

No that spot is reserved for Andymac so he doesn't have to move far from a beer tap in the middle of the night.

How Considerate, thank you! Hopefully next to the lap dancers tent as well.

2 more entries coming in from myself and cyclonestu.

Just confirming numbers but defo 4 - poss 7.

We'll need space for a coupe of tents.

How does the berthing work from Sunday through to Monday?

I will definately need a crane please on sun am. And then back out Monday pm. (Stu will probably use the slipway)

Thanks
James

This weekend is gonna be something special.

Well now sign ups are coming thick and fast. We have exceeded 45 intended boats without the maybes and I've totally lost count of those along for the party so it is shaping up to be the one you don't want to miss.

You have 45 paid entries, pretty impressive!!!!

The berthing is all sorted, we will have a large area put aside on the inner arms where the boats can raft safely and for the bigger stuff there are a few fingers free.

Tents are no problem to us, I just need to organise where they go so they don't get blown away by our chopper!

Trailer guys will be put in by tractor and recovered for the tenner and Brian will store the trailers safe and sound.

The crane is not a problem but make a point of reminding me a few days before so I can make sure they have enough staff if there are more to deal with. They're charging £50 for the travel lift which has to be the cheapest lift ever.

Are there any others towing there boat down from portsmouth area ???

I will be getting on the m3 at j3 then on to the m25? Any one fancy meeting up?

See if you lads can do a top gear style precession lol I'm going through London if anyone wants to join me.
