August Poker Run

OK, Drivers Wharf are running another Solent Poker run on Saturday 12th August 2006.

Not got many details yet, but given the popularity of the last event, there will definitely be a capped number of entries, probably at 30 boats.

Deadline for entries is Friday 4th August. Same as before, £30 deposit, ballance paid on the day, no deposit by the 4th, no Poker run for you.

And remember, 30 boats max, so first come, first served.

Evening party/card game, will again be held in the shed at drivers.

Gill's gonna sing with the band this time (bet ya didn't know she could sing)

Probably try and get the pack out to Nab Tower this time, weather permiting.

Who's up for it?

The Nab Tower is about 12 miles due south of Hayling Island.

Can get quite lumpy out there, so nappy time for Chaos (big girl!)

I'm sure Mr Stirling wouldn't object!

Just think of the size of the popcorn you'll have if you make it out there and back!

You can have a 'Blue Peter badge' if you make it.

PS. no ones allowed to break down out there!

popcorn?

The only thing likely to breakdown if it gets rough is my passenger...........& I've still not forgiven him for Sundays antics!

so how far do we deviate from the island to get to this tower then?

You can just see it here on the right in the chart.

east of Bembridge.

You can take another diversion over bembridge ledge again if you fancy a bit of Russian Roulette!
