BladeRun UK announcement...

Hi,

Twin engined Augusta helicopter, 160 knot piece of kit, booked and ready to rock and roll on Day 2 of the UK rally, joining the fleet overhead in Brighton on Saturday afternoon, ready for the run back to Southampton.

Overhead we have a professional marine photographer capturing all the boats below, and a camera operator,. ready to make up a 3 - 5 minute promo movie of the best footage of YOUR boat, this is uploaded to the Team page and is available for your own promotional uses, for charter web-sites, etc. Good PR value!

All the marina fees are paid for, BladeRun t-shirts to all crew, marine support, etc.

We have some nice boats on the rally - High performance we have a Hunton 37, Velocity 39, Donzi 30, Donze 38. We have a number of Ribs, zap cats, no jet ski as yet (which is kind of a shame). We also have a number of large sports cruisers boats too. Thats the point of BladeRun, a good range of boats on the grid, and a good range of people looking for some adventure.

Our boat only entry fee is £250, this includes helicopter imagery, professionally edited movie, t-shirts for participants, marina fees, decals for the boats (really good quality ones too!).

The departure date is Friday 30th May, returning Saturday 31st May. I hope some of you want to join the 15 boats already entered and make this a really good and memorable event.

I'm hoping that the odd Round Britain boat will be along for testing, but we shall see if this will be possible after the weekend when the boats in questioned are launched.

Duncan
