British Sportsboat Rally
Just got off the blower with old man Ring, and in between the bah humbugs & grumbling, he made quite a good suggestion.
How about, he says, we try to get all these wankers from Boatmad with their Rings, Phantoms, Marshans etc, to bring their fine craft along to a British Sportsboat rally, soley for such boats? We could try to get at least one of each model to attend, right back to the Ark that he designed as teenager.
Mebbe it's something we could plan over the winter, and it might gain momentum in time for a summer meet in Cowes or similar.
Who'd be up for that? (Monohull only I'm affraid folks)

Oo said?
Not me, said I.
Only commercial ribs with triple or quad engines allowed.
( They are almost powerboats and not too bad really , 'specially if you take the tubes off !)

I don't recall talking about a video night, must have been someone else proposing it.
What 'new craft' do you mean? Is it british?

Now listen, we're going to need a good turnout of the finest Sittingbourne thouroghbreds to show those tossers from LA the way home! We can't have them getting above their station, now can we.
So lets see some hands?
