Hopefully going to Abersoch on Saturday, so will fire up the opti & have a look around the boat & trailer, hopefully we can put her in at Abersoch a few times before the poker run

The course has been set today and it's a good one, roughly 7 mile per leg!
Few things from today.. There is the odd net or pot marker buoys about so just be vigilant of these whilst under power, also everyone is to stay min 500 metres away from the windfarms!
Other than them little points it's all looking splendid

8am at the boat ramp should be ok, half hour earlier would be better, reason being is the driver / crew briefing which is mandotory for safety and insurance purposes is at 10am. This wouldn't leave you a lot time to launch, get parked up, get to Piel and moor up, drop all you gear and so on! I will get someone to meet you at the walney slip on the Saturday to show you the way to Piel.

I intend to arrive Friday lunch time because of distance, so I guess I will just make my own way to Piel island get settled in and see all AM Saturday.

Most people will be arriving Friday mate, there will no doubt be lots making there way so you won't have any issues, Infact I'll be launching around that time

4 weeks on Friday and the Piel island poker run weekend begins
Absolutely everthing is in place.
42 mile course is set, Prizes, hogroast, evening entertainment, photographer, film makers the lot!
With 40 boats and over 100 crew (plus many many followers / spectators) this is shaping up to be one hell of a weekend.

Had our boat out a few times, put new fuel lines in and cleaned fuel tank, wheel bearing and brakes going back on next week ready for the drive from Abersoch to Piel Island
