PRA POKER RUN - 23 May 2015

An update from the new committee of the PRA:

We'd like you all to know that that there is currently a lot of back room work being done within this club. We can confirm that the first "Pirates of the Solent" Poker Run of 2015 is going ahead on the day previously stated - 23rd May (with a lay day on the 24th just in case of bad weather).

Mike Lloyd has paved the way for another great run, starting off from Hamble Point Marina at the mouth of the Hamble, and it is now down to the newly appointed committee to finalise details. We intend to make it something equally appealing to al, regardless of size and power of boat, and will be meeting in early Jan to finalise all the aspects that we are busy working on (including costs). We will then release details on here and on facebook. All you pirates out there can expect big and exciting events for 2015 - watch this space!

Meanwhile, we wish all of you pirates a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year !!!!!!!

I have already tested the waters at mercury marina and it was a yes if you ever want to use it for another venue.

Feel free to run with it they just need numbers for quotes on food and crane hire.

During these cold wet nights it's good to remember the 1st leg of our Poker Rally last July. These were the leading boats after Calshott Spit. Not the clearest of shots but we were all travelling a little quickly by then!!
