Is there a round the island (Isle of Wight) powerboat race for novices? If so when is it?

Thanks gap52, so if i wanted to race in the CPC what qualifications/licenses would i need to do this. At present all I have experience can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I will needs.

Foolish don't think I'm ready to play with the big boys just yet, just fancy a bit of competitive fun, makes a change from watching football.

LOL .. Hardly the "Big Boys" .. Ashleigh's a girl 5'2" and only 8 stone .. & We don't do anything BUT fun, I'm sure you would have a great time - plus you get 3 races over 2 days and a great party inbetween !

Not really sure on how to get started do i need any licences/training etc? Got the boat just lacking the experience.

I believe there is training available at Folkstone on the Friday ( which you will need ) give Sheena or Barrie a call via sepaoffshore.co.uk or give me a call 07721 354672
