Smile 1999 merc 2.5 200 for sale, v low hours! £2500!

As my hull is sold I've got my outboard up for sale now!...
I honestly don't think you could possily find better for this kind of money!

The powerhead is a 1999 2.5 200, very low hours (around 40 i believe) with the exhaust chest ported.
Leg is standard length from a mid 90's xr2, cowling is xr2 as well, i like confusing people!
It has a new impeller, water pump housing, spark plugs, heads and headgaskets from when i built it, along with nice blue hoses for the water outlets.
Can come with a 26p chopper or cleaver if desired...

Pulls like a train and smokes my friend's 200 opti!

Open to offers, let's say around £2500?

Unless someone wants to pick it up, i'll have it delivered to anywhere on a pallet.

I can PM pics of the powerhead if anyone likes, a view of the outside is currently available in my 'cat for sale' thread...

Cheers, James

I don't see any reason why not... it's basically the same weight as the xr2, 150 and 175 so wouldn't be too heavy. As far as i'm aware there's a few people on here running these motors on them, 'freedom' for one. It's definately a lot lot lighter than a 200opti, my best mate has one!

I'm pretty sure the max rating for the R18 was 200, and there's another guy on your thread running the same boat with a 200 which he says is fine...

I'm confident you won't fine another motor near this price which is as reliable.

Feel free to PM me,

Cheers, James
