2.5efi or 280 2.5

Fingers crossed I will be changing my powerhead over the next few week and cash allowing and after a recomendation I'd like one of the above. If anyone ones has got either of the going please can you drop me a line as I may be interested

if its just a used 2.5 powerhead your after & your not bothered whether its all matching............... Gregs gotta be worth a call, he'd mosty likely take your old powerhead as a p/x & may even offer to stand by what you purchase.

He normally has a 260 or 2 in but doesnt like the Part Chop anything other than a 260!

theres a couple off 280 bolt ons on s&f $7500 or some 260s $5500 i know greg has a 260 in at the moment i dont know much about it give him a call!

Basically I'm looking at anything that will push towards 80mph+ (and that I can afford ie XR2, 2.4, 2.5) again if anyone has anything that my be of interest drop me a line.

dude you will need a minimum of 260hp to achieve 80mph in ya boat. you will struggle for 70mph with a xr2 or a 2.4 200

I only live 2 minutes fro the airport so avgas is no problem to me, gives me something to think about.

Thanks, got a couple of options at the mo. And thanks for all the pms.
Spoke to Greg and hes got a coulpe of things on offer (both 2.5-260's), as well as a xr2 that sounds pretty good.
