No, that sounds cool, you could try adjusting the tab to be a continuation of the running surface, so the straight edge touches along the hull and evenly along the tab, or is parallel to the straight edge, but with it as it is aught to be the fastest position.

What propeller are you running? (as in make/model)

I would swap the word scary for stupid! I swapped ends once when a similar cable broke on a Crusader 16 with a V4 rude.

It certainly gets your attention, I would have lost the motor if it hadn't have been for the 33c's.

I wouldn't think your insurance co would be impressed with the photo

Well it looks to me like you already have a bow tank, or at least the pick-up for it.

I assume it was a ski racing rig

I dont know if i am the only one that has noticed but you appear to have an extra long shaft engine on a phantom. No wonder it chine walks! You need a 15inch or 20 inch engine.

Only solution buy a new engine or borrow my angle grinder and take 5 inches of your mid section!

Yeah xl shaft i jacked the engine up so the cavitation plane was in line like my old xr2 but it was worse i had no control at all of the boat and was impossible to trim up. so i lowered the engine down a bit and its fine its just when i hit 70mph it seems to cavitate or go on its side,
