Well the description says "TULLIO ALLETTE", but shouldn't that be Tullio Abbatte? I seem to remember seeing one on the Exe, I have just found the thread and they are 36's - maybe it is the same model or they did both a 36 and a 38? Twin diesels would be better, but what would the volcano's burn an hour and would they last? Were they reliable at all?

Is it an antique destined for the scrap man or is it worth saving?

There was either this one or one very similar in the boat yard at Exmouth train station a couple of years ago. It later appeared on e bay.

Needed som TLC to restore at the time.

Wouldnt like to fuel those lumps !!!!!!

That means there were three there then as there are two runners in Exmouth as well.

How much would they burn then?

I didn’t really know too much about those Italian v8’s…so didn’t want to risk it.
Ended up with a Norwegian build boat with 5.7 Mercrusier’s, and this has been a good package for cruising around in the Solent. The 5.7’s are really smooth and have been completely with out any issues….
