its not SVS you can see the centre horn in one of the pictures, drags normally have a black 56psi regulator. these are lovely boats, look at pictures of cyco's in reader rides!!! I had quite a bit of seat time in his which was the same spec apart from he had no rub rail, they handle the rough water brillantly.

Hi, Burty
So is it a REAL drag or not........ all the drag motors I have seen have had Brucato front end.

I've spent ages before looking at the photos of cy's bernico, it's an absolute work of art! Everything looks just right, there's nothing added just for the hell of it.
Lots more money than i could afford at the mo though, one day.....

drag motors only started coming with SVS front ends from around 2003 before that they were just the same as a 260, all had 56psi regs though and specific ecus that had the 11500 rev limit rather than 8250, beware though because drag ecu's lean the fuel right out at around 5000rpm to build heat into the motor ready for the big push to 11k so cruising around at half throttle isnt a good move!

John Marles at US1 was getting 360-380 hp from 39psi with a48........
Is that the mod you had done to your a5 ecu ( remove the leaning out )

Drag Motor
Looks very similar to my old boat, even has the same front seat pattern and colors.
The Drag motor on mine had a horn rather than an SVS, as Burty says this came in around 2003.

Mercury 2.5 Drag Engine (2 hours after we buyed in January 2008)
Can't make out if this is meant to be a new powerhead or just new to them?
either way it ain't a 2008 Drag motor.
The ECU thing at 5000rpm is standard on a drag motor that's why we prop'd mine low to keep it spinning (plus I don't ski that slow)
This rig (if running around 350hp) should see around 85mph gps speed.
Very good boats in the rough as Burty said.
40,000 Euro's is a bit steep in my opinion, especially as the motor is not elligible for F2 ski racing.
I sold mine for £32k when it was under 2 years old and I would say mine was a better spec boat than this one. (bias'd opinion)
Good luck with the sale.

Hi again,
Cyco, in that time it's true that £32K was equivalent to 45000 Euros (1£ = 1,42 Euros).
To give more data about the boat, we can say that this boat it has been run one Spanish Championship (2007) and no more. It's like new.
We can get 85mph gps speed in no better sea conditions.
Too, we can split the package. Offers are welcome.
See you soon.

just a drifferent fuel curve inserted by brucato to allow for how the motors are used in ski racing plus raising the rev limit
