Perhaps that's where Reefer Racing missed a trick.

We always tried to keep the boats upright and not spit out the clients or drivers (as espoused by some others).

I imagine we just didn't provide the right amount of thrills.

2000 (My first year as Operations Director) Excellent year. 38 days booked, 36 days actually done.

2001. There was a perceived downturn in the economy. Our core clientel (haulage and high tech) thought they were doing badly. Perhaps they were.

Bookings dropped to nearly nil and the rest as they say is history.

Sounds like a cushty number, only doing 36 days work per year.
