Was this boat out at the P1 race in Cowes August B H weekend without the graphics cos if it was I couldn't keep up with it and I was doin 46 MPH gps speed and it looked to be handling extremely well. I didn't get a good look at it cos all I could see was the transom but it looks good in the photo's, I would think it should make at least 5k simply cos its should be extremely cheap to run, some guys I know run these engines in ribs and they are getting 3-4 galls an hour flat out, also the engine is worth that on its own.

Good luck with selling it.

Yes it is the same boat pre graphics, I was'nt driving though, I was tied up with some other boat that week end.
The best I have had outta her is 53 mph as the graphics would suggest with 2 up and low fuel and about 50 rpm over, 2:1 alpha with a 14x25" cut down chopper and as you say about 3 gallons an hour in a 16 foot boat all makes to be very interesting boating.
I put it together a couple of years back when I found enough bits, The boat was built by Brin at Trio's for an outboard but I didn't have one and on measureing the large engine well it was decided i would fit the diesel and not loose any cockpit space.
I would have liked more time to use it but like everyone else you don't get as much time now for your self, and now with my time in the UK quickly deminishing I need to sell her so if you can point anyone in it's direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards Gav.
