Thans tho.

well I have a 23p Solas Scorpian which I ran on my 150 merc.
It was a little slower than my previous 21p Laser but the handling and take off was a hell of a lot better than the Laser.
If you want u can have a lend of it on ONE condition, you dont return it by interlink! As they guy who delivered my other stuff to work said that they either took them to the wrong address or didnt bother delivering it to my address in the 1st place.

Burty's got a nice 22.5 ET you can borrow till next year. If your worried it's too small and will make your engine rev to much then have no fear cus in a few weeks he will have a fresh Jay Smith 2.5 EFI that will rev till to the clouds, you can have a lend of that till he gets his boat back together too!!! Nice of him init, just PM him and sort out a time to pick it all up.

As for my 24 chopper is a 26 thats been worked to a 24 it has an omc (I think) hub which whilst it will fit a merc is only splined for about 1" rather than the usual 2" ish. Its also very taty as a result I've never run it. Burty tried it on his sharp and it pushed it to 76mph 4 mph faster than his laser 2 on the same day. Its currently at prop revolutions to see if the can tidy it up, if they can I will get it re-bushed at the same time.

I did think it was very good of Burty to offer to lend me other peoples gear without them knowing!!

JBD, what sort of cost you looking at to get it re-bushed, can you do that across the range on all props?

The leading edges of the blades were very wavey and had some knicks in them. From what I remember they were pretty thined out too. I never really looked at it that closley just took it to prop revs and asked em if they could do anything with it. The main dude wasn't there and the other guy didn't seem to positive about it but he said he would get mr top banana to phone me once he'd had a look. I'm not quite on first name terms with the guys down at prop revolutions yet

Mine was quite bad. If you had seen it you could be forgiven for thinking I'd had a go at working it myself with a toffee hammer and the corner of a table

See, wavey edges and 1" of splines, possibly less looking at that photo.
