yes it is,apparently the 2 hole propeller shaft is different to the later ones.mine has a twisted spline and don't want to risk loosing the prop.do you have one ?.Nic

Is it good complete gearbox or a complete damaged gearbox,how many holes?

I've not sripped it yet,I think I've sourced a 15" shaft and was planning to get my box rebuilt with that and at the same time replace the twisted output shaft.Nic

Do you know?
Can anyone confirm if the output shaft (prop)on the 2 hole CLE gearbox is the same or different from the later CLE,if different how do you identify the shafts?,any help appreciated.Nic

As far I know there is no inscriptions on prop shaft.
Here is the serial numbers and different references for XR2 prop shaft.
