clearout for 2006

to makeway for 2006 ihave lots to move on.to start with a complete 2004 optimax 200xs short shaft.xr2 powerhead 3 hours since blueprint ,short shaft midsection and tuner,2.1 spotsmaster gearbox,powertrim pumps etc etc

you dont have to buy a shortshaft gearbox ,if you have a standard box ,just have the shaft shortened,the box is the same

they cut the shaft down and then re spline the end however its not as good as a real one because the end of the shaft is hardened and if you do it then its not, should be ok with 200 ish hp but if you are running mega power then you may chew the end of the shaft up

They are about 300-400 quid for the shaft, plus you have to rip apart the whole gearbox and remove the pinion off the bottem of the drive shaft so you can get it out.then you have to think about the shimming once youve taken the gearbox apart it mayneed to be re shimmed.your looking at 400-500 quid after all replacement gaskets, 20 quid for oil plus any tools you may need
