I don't want it but more details might be a good idea.

Hydraulic or manual?
Price?
Age?

is it all ali or has it got the stainless motor bracket??
where is the pump located?
if its an internal pump then its worth more

rough prices as me and JBD see it are as follows
this is based on people we know who have bought lifts, i'm sure other people will have different ideas but this is how we see it.

manual between £100 to £150 if working correctly
old style hydraulic (pump outside) £250
new old style pump internal £350
old style but with stainless steel motor bracket £350
New style (like mine) around £500

What burty means buy new style is the motor brackets are beefed up and thicker where the bearings run and the bearings are also wider too.

So in terms of age, oldest to newest, it goes:

Pump on side constant thickness motor brackets
Pump internal constant thickness motor brackets
Pump internal motor brackets thicker at bearing running surface.

I don't know if the latest S/S ones are beefed up at the bearings. I suspect not due to the way the S/S motor brakets are made.
