Why only 2 engines? You have 3 drivelines and that was the original idea, or?

That was the original plan to have three hence we have three complete engine/gearbox/drives. We wanted to test just having two engine after the London Monte Carlo race was cancelled.

Talking Cougar

I saw the boat go out last Christmas with 3 engine In it and it went very well just needed a little bit of tweaking i can't believe the boat was taken apart after all the work Lance put into it It's a real shame he put his heart and soul into getting that boat so right It was so close to being perfect just needed a phew small tweaks Taking the third engine out was absolute madness As the boat is very heavy and needed the third motor Lance had 75 mph on GPS with three Engines just took a little while to get on the plane But Lance had almost got that problem sorted Then the boat disappeared and turned up with two engines Obviously someone New better than Lance and took one out Let me tell you that was a big mistake taking it out I watched the whole Build from start to finish Nothing Was left unturned it had the best of everything It would be good for someone to buy it and put the 3 engine back in And make it really go This is just my opinion I've only been doing boats for 20 years

You are correct insomuch as Lance did everything to the highest standard. We decided to test the boats capabilities with 2 engines to consider options going forward. The engine came out in a day and can easily go back in within a day if that is what a potential buyer wishes.
