motors

I am a newbie on here so Hi everyone. I have been watching this and was wondering what sort of motors would be best. I was would thinking two jacking plates and 225 outboards, if this is the case would I need contra rotating gearboxes as the hull is quite wide and in my not so experienced head, it shouldn't be a problem but if anyone knows better your advice would be appreciated

.

Tony Davis's old boat. Its monstrously big (compared to say a 30ft Skater). These boats were about long before my time, but I was always led to believe they require a lot of HP to get going as a cat should.

might want to think about 4x225's

Blimey, that's way too much for my budget, I would rather get a couple of inboards and outdrives or surface drives but I am unsure of the technical and if they would work efficiently. I think I would need more info and someone who knows a bit about the design of the hull and what can be put in it. Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

I am thinking of selling my 225hp Pro Max 2000 x 2. They are rebuilt with less less than 10 hours. David 07768 688 622.
