I used Interparcel to send an aliminium ballast tank to the West Midlands, collected last Thursday from Sussex to be delivered last Friday. According to the tracking number it's still somewhere at their Crawley depot and having already spoken to them numerous times they say TNT are searching for it! I'm supposed to be out practicing at the weekend!

There's your problem - TNT - prbably the most useless company I have ever had the misfortune to get involved with. 3 weeks to send a 7kg parcel from Jersey to Dublin. They then wanted £195.00 for the 'service'. I spoke to them daily and was given all sorts of promises none of which came to anything. After a long letter they did do it FOC but following other repetitive problems I have now closed our account with them and recommend avoiding TNT like the plague! There's much more to this story but it only makes them look worse and would take an hour to type!!!

Moose.

Parcel2go are really good they collected my powerhead parts within 15 minutes of booking online, the recipient then got a phone call an hour later to say it would be with him the next day, it was being delivered to Florida!

I always use Interparcel, never had a problem, but then they, and parcels 2 go etc are just booking agents, and can't really be held responsible for the failings of the courier companies they negotiate with on our behalf.

If I book a holiday with Thomas Cook, I don't blame them if British Airways lose my bag.

Exactly - with the booking service companies all is fine until something goes wrong - and that wil occasionally happen with mos tcourier companies.

I have found Parcel2go after sales service really poor - whereas Interparcel have been better.

On courier companies most work very well - problems have been with the budget ones whihc is not surprising.

Only service I trust is Nik Keyser >> http://www.keytransport.co.uk

Boxes of bacon, forgotten suits, large engines Nik never lets anyone down.

Why use multi drop courier companies for goods which you pay good money for and are part of your pride and joy. I often take tanks to Cris and move goods around the country for a number of marine dealers, they use us because we do dedicated deliveries and no they can trust us for more info
google James Robinson couriers.
ps hope the tank turns up soon and if you need transport back let me know i have vans going all over they country

I'm hoping Chris won't take long to make the new tank and that you will deliver it!
