Dash Trim Indicators
As some people may be aware Ive been manufacturing the trim actuators for some time now and have been asked on a number of occasion if I can supply the dash end to which Ive never really looked into.
Now I have my boat back and its up and running Ive been looking in a few places to buy an indicator but to be honest, by the time Ive spent a few hundred dollars on the gauge and then paid tax and shipping it works out quite pricey.
So, I have now started making my own (not heads up - yet).
At the mo Ive started on a horizontal 3 way (drive + tabs) cable entry through left as thats what I needed for myself but can make to suit really.
Id prefer to supply with a plain ali bezel for people to finish in which ever colour they want.
If this is any interest to anyone drop me a line, I can, if really needed have the bezels finished to blue, white, red or polished for an extra £20.
I'll post a pic (althought theres not much to see really) when my phones finished updating which shows the card and bezel (plain ali) just to give you an idea. Im hoping to have them ready early next week as I want to fit mine this coming weekend.
Price wise looking @ £95 inc pp (un painted/polished) for either 1 2 3 or 4 slot
Cheers
Dan

Here you go, I'm waiting for the backing panel to come back which should be Thursday, Its made to suit a 33c cable. Pic taken from my phone but sure you will get the idea.

yes, no problem at all. If you have the fitting you want already I can sort you a fitting point in the rear cable plate.
As I said, I made this to suit my own boat, if anyone wants a variation then thats no problem at all.
Cheers
Dan

I can't see any reason why not. The ones im doing take a 33c cable, the range of travel on the face is over 100mm which is pretty much the same as the rex faces etc.
You would need to find a suitable fixing point on the plastic rams or a way of clamping the cable in place but I would guess the dash end would give you ample travel

Just thinking about this, I can supply a cable clamp that will fix to the Bennett ram, you'd need to find a place to fix to the tab itself buts thats pretty straight forward tbh.
Cheers

Trim Indicator
Hi Dan,
wondering If you still are in the business of making Trim indicators?
fairly old thread:-)
If so would you consider selling one to DK?
I am looking for 2taps+1engine, as you have in the picture.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
Christian
