Evinrude 225/250 3.0L (Tuned Bernico) x 2

Advertising on behalf of a friend who has decided to convert his twin back to a single 300 Mercury to make it more family friendly for his young boys.

FOR SALE: 2 Evinrude 3.0L loop charged motors.

1) This was the original motor from "Tranquilizer" FII ski race boat built, owned and run by Nico Bertels. Unsure of exact spec or hp, but its got plenty. Complete with magnum lower unit, later cowls etc. £2450

2) The second engine was purchased on behalf of the boats then owner and modified to "match" performance of the original motor when the boat was re-rigged by Bernico as an F1 Twin. This motor has standard lower unit, later cowls. £1950.

Both engines are standard rotation, 20" shaft, running 40:1 premix and have drilled exhausts. In very nice condition. Prices include controls and SS wingplates but not steering.
