a 25 or 26 seems a little bit steep for a 225hp

running a 25p prop or 26p would restrict your max revs and reduce your top end speed.
I have a 26p cleaver which I am going to have worked down as close to a 24p as i can. that should give me early to mid 70's

You reckon downpitching a sternlifting prop is the way to?
I'm astounded, but hey, what do I know.

Prop comes of my own 225 ram ficht, but was to big for my boat
It would only do 5400 rpm's
to answer your question ,yes it will fit a 225 evinrude.
prop is only used for testing and " as new".
greetings Har.

It all rather depends on gear ratio!
