Might be an issue with the amount of torque the engine produces?

I thought the Aussies use Sportsmaster conversions for MOC (as the boat in the picture) but left handed Etec 300 boxes for twins.

The guru when it comes to MOC Omc/Brp engines in Aus

Is it correct that the Omc V8 counter rotating gears fit into the Lightning box

The Magnum is available in counter rotating.

MAD EFI do the mid section conversion for cheap money.
you just need the Merc 15" steerer tube and saddle sections.

Oh and the gearbox.

Not really an expensive conversion.

I bet that thing really goes, must be a 90mph boat.

Rumour has it that Tuff N Up has blown up eight gearboxes so far on it's Etecs.

Not sure what box's they are running to do that then!!
The 300xs sportsmaster gear box can be converted to 15" that can handle similar torque to the 250HO...

we run the 3.4 litre 250 ho etec on a f1 omc box and the box has done very well so far. shame they cant try and mate one of those to it.
