Hi!
I got an 199 Bravo and my brother has a 199 Bravo, mine is powered by 115 yammi and bro has a 225 yammi on it!
fine boat, please post pics or visit my fletcher-dedicated website.
But we arent around uk. we live in germany
They are very rare, i found one with 175 merc in netherlands for 7.500 euros.
Best regards!

Not Raced and no racing history, but raced it beside race boat take pictures of them in the solent!
we were shock of its performance!
We were at a safe distance to one side, so not to up set the race group! we took pictures for 5 mins then left them to it!
Ive never knew it was a boat designed for that! but while owning it i unstood its protential
It was well looked after but also we had a darkside and found how well it went in rough weather, Boy! it loves to jump the waves and smoothly comes down for setting up for the next great wave!
when I used to ski behind her, my bro used to open her up and there's me behind skiing at 60+ My eye used to water like made! but thankfully didnt come off! he knew i could cope with the speed after years of skiing but it was a feeling of adrenilyn injected in 2 seconds.
Do you know of one thats competed and also how rare are they! because i know of this one here in the south at present! and one red one in scotland for sale.
the best thing about the look was having new 96 mariner in metalllic grey with the red/white mariner band to go with the colours of orginal colours of hull and interior!

Hello Shelbysteve
Sounds you too, apriciate the 199
I have owned one ( from allmost new ), my friend has got one and I know about 8 people who owns 199's currently.
The 199 model is quite seldom - I was told by Fletcher that about 120 where ever made. that includes the 2 different versions of the hull.
1. generation: rails alle the way to the stern, about 380 kgs.
2. generation: Slight rocker added to starbord, inner rails stops before the
stern, about 420 - 460 kgs.
currently I can only find this for sale in the UK:

Dont know much about it, but the engine seems a bit taddy.

Re:
Well, if the price is right you could renovate it.
Older Suzukis hasnt got the best of reputation, but I think the V6 series are OK.

This guy is almost a neighbour to my cruising area. Boat is in good condition.
Runs around 110 kmh with a standard steel propeller on speedo, not gps.
He has also mounted a cleaver-like Propeller and then she goes on to 120 kmh on speedo (not GPS ).

Nice boat! those seats look nice! i like the yamaha motor too!
I had a high five prop on mine it riped the arms out of my sockets and had a very good top end! i had a good in a jet boat seadoo with twin supercharged motors it hit 65mph in poole harbour and yet my wife and i thought it was still slightly slower!

Just spotted this - I assume it's a Bravo 199???
Don't think much of the scaffolding pole they have bolted to it though....
My father used to have a 199 with a 200 - went like stink and was great fun - sadly he sold it after a few months as we had to go out to the Gulf again. Would love to find one with a bust engine so I could stick my suzuki 225 on it and then a 300 on my RIB.
