Fletcher ex ski record holder??

Fletcher 22ft hull and trailer only. i was told it holds or did hold ski speed record?? i'm sure someone on here will know.. was red and white when raced. does not come with engines or steering. includes fuel tank, upholstry and on painted galvinized twin axle trailer. offers invited..

Don't think so dude, the only recorded record is Darren Kirkland on Windermere behind an inboard @ 95ish MPH
cant see that boat doing much more than 75mph with those motors and even with tuned 2.5's most twins only get somewhere into the 90's

somewhere ive got a photo of this boat,it was a ski racer from many many years ago ,it was kept in christchurch

this is one of a special design by norman fletcher of which he created only a few for ski racing and he sponsored darren for some time will dig some pics out i actually owned one of the kevlar arrowbolt twin rigs from the later years they in there time were quite quick !

apparently boat set a record a few years ago and was twin rig but not these outboards, as they are brand new.

It should be a Arrowbolt 21 GT from the 70s. Look at Number 12

sorry for late reply only just seen questions. the boat was defernatly red and white and was raced?? I dont want to start stripping all the paint off as trying to sell it..

The red and white Fletcher above 'NE watersports', 'Team Fletcher' was owned and driven by Clive Griffiths who was a member of Hartlepool club. He was a regular competitor at ski races and did tow Bronwyn Wright of Australia in some of the races at the first world championships in 1979. You can see the boat in this clip from the Welsh Harp round (https://vimeo.com/1502523). The observer named, David Jordan was also a long time Hartlepool skier. He must have sold this in the early mid 80's at a guess.
